2022/23 Season Information 

• First Practice Nov 7th (grades 9-12) 

• Practices in WCHS wrestling room and run 3:45-5:45pm 

• Must have a VHSL physical dated after May 1 to participate 

• see Coach Wadas or Coach Stokes for more info

Itineraries

Dec 3rd - Waynesboro Classic 

* Event is being held at Kate Collins Middle School

5:45am - arrive at WCHS 

6:00am - Bus Departs for Waynesboro

7:30am - Weigh ins 

9:30am - Wrestling begins 

   Round1 - 9:30-1030

   Round2 - 10:30-11:30 

   Round3 - 11:30-12:30

   Round4 - 12:30-1:30 

   Round5-  1:30-2:30

- Arrive back at WCHS 5-6pm

Format: Team dual tournament. Ten teams will be divided into two pools with round robin
wrestling in each pool (4 matches). Then teams in each pool will be matched against a team in
the other pool according to records (1 match).

Awards: Team trophies will be given to the top three teams. This will be based on the best
record after the cross over matches. Medals will be given to individuals with the following record
of the day: 5-0 1 st place
